Alex Trebek: "So, tell me a little bit about yourself."

Contestant: "Well, Alex, I'd like to tell you about the Bible. In 1 Samuel 16, the Lord sends Samuel to the house of Jesse in Bethlehem to anoint the chosen one of the Lord. Jesse presents his seven sons to Samuel, but none of them are chosen. Then, Jesse's youngest son David is called in from the fields, and the Lord chooses him to be the king of Israel. Samuel anoints David as the King, and everyone rejoices."

Alex Trebek: *sighs heavily* "That's...nice. So, what's your favorite hobby?"

Contestant: "I really enjoy reading and retelling stories from the Bible, Alex. For example, in 1 Samuel 17, David bravely faces off against the giant Philistine warrior Goliath. David defeats Goliath with only a simple sling and stone, and the Israelites are victorious in battle."

Alex Trebek: *rolls his eyes* "Fascinating. Is there anything else you'd like to tell me about?"

Contestant: "Sure! In 1 Samuel 18, David and Jonathan become brothers-in-arms, and swear an oath of loyalty to one another. Jonathan gives David his robe, his armor, and even his bow and arrows! This is the start of a lifelong bond between the two."

Alex Trebek: *sighs again* "Well, I'm sure that's very inspiring, but let's move on. What's your favorite type of cuisine?"
