Alex: So, what do you do for a living?

Contestant: Well, I'm actually a Bible scholar. I'm quite familiar with the book of 1 Samuel.

Alex: [Sighs] Okay, if you must, tell me what it's about.

Contestant: Sure! So, in 1 Samuel 10, God sends the prophet Samuel to anoint Saul as the first king of Israel. Samuel also gives Saul a sign to show that he is the chosen one. He tells Saul to go to a particular spot and wait, and when he arrives there, he will receive a sign that he is to be king. Sure enough, when Saul shows up, he runs into a group of prophets who are prophesying. Saul is then filled with the Holy Spirit and does the same.

Alex: [Rolls eyes] Alright, anything else?

Contestant: Yes, Saul then goes to a town where he is met with a great celebration. Everyone is excited that Saul is the king and they crown him with a wreath of fresh-cut flowers. Afterward, Saul goes to the town of Gibeah, where he is met with even more support.

Alex: [Sighs] Okay, I think that's enough Bible for one day.
