Joe (excitedly): Alright, so what do we have here?

Bible Expert: Well, chapter 10 of 1 Samuel is a pivotal moment in the Bible. In this chapter, the prophet Samuel anoints Saul to be the first King of Israel.

Joe: Wait, hold on. Are you telling me that Saul was the first King of Israel?

Bible Expert: That's right.

Joe: Wow! That's pretty cool. So what happens next?

Bible Expert: Well, the Lord sends the Holy Spirit upon Saul and gives him the power to prophesy. He also instructs Saul to go to a specific place where he will meet some of his future subjects.

Joe: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute! Are you saying that Saul was given the power to prophesy?

Bible Expert: That's right.

Joe: Jamie, can you look this up?

Jamie: Sure thing, Joe. (Pause) Alright, it looks like Saul was given the power to receive divine knowledge and predict the future.

Joe: Unbelievable. So what happens after Saul meets his future subjects?

Bible Expert: Well, after Saul meets his future subjects, they recognize him as their king and they begin to celebrate with music and dancing.

Joe: Wow, that sounds pretty cool. So then what happens?

Bible Expert: Well, after the celebration, Saul goes to a place called Gilgal and there he is officially proclaimed king by the people of Israel.
