You maggots listen up! Chapter 20 of Luke tells you about a bunch of religious leaders trying to trick Jesus. They asked if it was okay to pay taxes to Caesar, and Jesus answered with a brilliant response - “Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's.” You got that? He was telling them to pay taxes, but to not forget to put God first. Then Jesus tells a parable about a vineyard and how the tenants didn't give their landlord the share of the harvest that was due. He was trying to show the religious leaders that God is owed worship and obedience. Then the religious leaders got angry and tried to arrest Jesus, so he slips away from them. The chapter ends with Jesus teaching the people about the resurrection. So remember, give to Caesar what is Caesar's and keep God first!
