1-7.

[Batman and Robin stand on a rooftop overlooking the city.]

Batman: Hold on to your hats, Robin! We've just received a distress call from the citizens of Rome.

Robin: You don't mean the Romans, Batman? What could they possibly need our help with?

Batman: It seems they're having a bit of trouble with the government. They need someone to remind them to obey the laws and be subject to the ruling authorities.

Robin: Well, that's no problem for us! Let's go save the day!

[The Dynamic Duo quickly make their way to Rome.]

Batman: All right, Robin. Romans 13:1-7 says that we should all be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.

Robin: Wow, Batman. That's a lot to take in.

Batman: Yes, it is. We must all obey the laws of the land, for the authorities are God's servants, working for our good.

[Suddenly, the Joker appears, laughing maniacally.]

Joker: But why should we obey the law? It's much more fun to break it!

Batman: I'm afraid not, Joker. The authorities are God's agents and are responsible for bringing justice to the world. If we disobey the law, we are sinning against God.

Robin: But what if we don't agree with the law, Batman?

Batman: Even if we don't agree with the law, Robin, we should still obey it. We should pay our taxes and respect those in authority. That is God's will.

[The Joker scowls and disappears, defeated.]

Robin: Wow, Batman. That was a great lesson in Romans 13:1-7.

Batman: Indeed, Robin. Let's go home and make sure we obey the laws of the land.

Robin: To the Batcave!
