(Batman and Robin are in the Batcave, looking at a computer screen with the text of Jonah 1)

Batman: So, Robin, it's time to read the first chapter of the book of Jonah.

Robin: Holy Bible, Batman! Are you sure this is a good idea?

Batman: Fear not, my faithful sidekick. This is a story of faith, courage, and redemption.

Riddler (suddenly appearing in the Batcave): Yes, yes, but what's the story about?

Batman: Well, Riddler, it seems that God commands Jonah to go preach repentance to the people of Nineveh. But instead, Jonah decides to try and run away from God, and boards a ship to Tarshish.

Robin: But of course, trouble awaits on the high seas!

Batman: That it does, Robin. A great storm hits the ship, and in an attempt to appease the storm, the crew casts lots to see whose fault it is. The lot falls on Jonah, and the crew learns that he is trying to flee from God.

Riddler: So what do they do?

Batman: They throw Jonah overboard, and God causes a great fish to swallow Jonah. After three days, Jonah repents and God commands the fish to vomit him up on dry land.
