Joe: Alright, let's get into this, I'm excited to hear what you got!

Bible Expert: Sure thing! In Jonah 1, God commands Jonah to go to Nineveh, which was an Assyrian city, to preach against its wickedness.

Joe: Hold on, Nineveh? I feel like I've heard that before.

Bible Expert: You might be thinking of the Nineveh Convertible.

Joe: Oh, right! Whoa! What a wild connection.

Jamie: (From the background) Actually, Joe, Nineveh was an Assyrian city.

Joe: (Giggles) Right, of course.

Bible Expert: Anyway, Jonah was afraid to go to Nineveh and tried to flee by boarding a ship. During a storm, Jonah's shipmates discovered he was the cause of the storm and threw him overboard. God then sent a great fish to swallow Jonah, and he remained in the fish's belly for three days and three nights.

Joe: Whoa, that's intense!

Bible Expert: It sure is! After the three days, God commands the fish to spit Jonah out onto dry land. Jonah then goes to Nineveh and preaches against its wickedness.

Joe: And what happens then?

Bible Expert: Well, the people of Nineveh repent and turn to God. This angers Jonah, who wanted God to punish the people of Nineveh.
