Alex: "So, tell me a bit about yourself. What do you do for a living?"

Contestant: "I'm a Bible scholar. I'm studying Isaiah 17 right now."

Alex: (Sighs) "Oh, I see. Well, why don't you tell me a bit about your work?"

Contestant: "Sure! In Isaiah 17, God predicts a devastating destruction of the land of Syria. He warns that their cities will become ruins and their land will be laid waste. He also talks about the nations of Ephraim and Judah, saying that Ephraim will be humbled and Judah will be destroyed, but eventually both nations will be restored."

Alex: (Sighs and rolls his eyes) "Well, that's certainly an interesting topic. Is there anything else you'd like to tell me about?"

Contestant: "Actually, yes. Isaiah 17 also predicts a future judgment of the world, when God will come to judge the nations and make all things right. He will bring peace and justice to the world, and will establish his kingdom forever."

Alex: (Gritting his teeth) "Um, yes. Well, I think we've heard enough about the Bible. Let's move on to something else, shall we?"
