Alex: "OK, so what do you like to do for fun?"

Contestant: "I like to read the Bible. In Isaiah 49, God tells the people of Israel that He has appointed them to be a light to the nations and to be a salvation to the ends of the earth."

Alex: "Ah, yes, of course. That is all very interesting...but isn't there anything else you like to do?"

Contestant: "Yes, of course. But in Isaiah 49, God also promises to be a source of strength and comfort to His people, and He promises to never forget them or forsake them."

Alex: (with a hint of frustration in his voice) "Yes, yes, very nice. Is there anything else you like to do when you're not reading the Bible?"

Contestant: "Well, in Isaiah 49, God also reaffirms His promise to restore the people of Israel to their homeland and to give them a glorious future. He promises that He will never forget them and will always be with them."

Alex: (sighing) "Yes, that's...very nice. So, what other activities do you enjoy?"

Contestant: "I also like to read the Bible. In Isaiah 49, God promises to redeem His people and restore them to their land, and He promises to make them a blessing to the nations. He also promises to be their source of strength and protection."

Alex: (defeated) "Yes, yes, that is all very interesting. Anything else?"
