Alex Trebek: "So, tell me a bit about yourself."

Contestant: "Well, sure, but first I wanted to talk about Deuteronomy 19 of the Bible. It's all about cities of refuge, which were set up to provide asylum for victims of accidental homicide. According to the chapter, three of these cities were to be established on the east side of the Jordan River, and three more were to be established in the land of Canaan."

Alex Trebek (sighing): "Interesting, but could you tell me something about yourself?"

Contestant: "Sure, but before that I want to mention that Deuteronomy 19 also includes instructions on how to handle cases of deliberate murder. It says that the murderer must be put to death and the body must be hung on a tree, as a warning to others not to commit such a crime."

Alex Trebek (frustrated): "I'm sure that's very interesting, but could you tell me something about yourself? Please?"

Contestant: "Of course, but I also wanted to mention that Deuteronomy 19 also includes a reminder to the Israelites to obey the Lord and keep his commandments. The chapter ends with a warning to not add or take away from the commandments that were given to Moses."

Alex Trebek (resigned): "Alright, now can you please tell me something about yourself?"
