Listen up, soldiers! Mark 8 is all about Jesus feeding a crowd of more than 4,000 people. That's right, 4,000! Jesus takes a few loaves of bread and a couple of fish and miraculously multiplies them, so everyone has enough to eat. After that, Jesus gets in a boat and heads over to the region of Dalmanutha. The Pharisees want a sign from Jesus, but He refuses and instead tells a parable about the yeast. Now pay attention here, soldiers, because this is important: Jesus warns His disciples not to be like the Pharisees, who only look for signs and wonders, but don't listen to God's Word. Next, Jesus heals a blind man and makes him see, and then He tells His disciples that He must suffer, die, and rise again. Got that, soldiers? Jesus must suffer, die, and rise again. Got it? Good!
