Alex: So, what have you been up to lately? Contestant: Well, I've been reading the Bible and I finished Numbers 14 recently. Alex: (sounding exasperated) Oh, great. Go on... Contestant: So, in Numbers 14, the Israelites were in the wilderness and they sent out spies to scout the Promised Land. →

"LISTEN UP, RECRUITS! THIS IS NUMBERS CHAPTER 14! THE ISRAELITES ARE AT THE EDGE OF THE PROMISED LAND, READY TO TAKE IT BY FORCE. BUT THE 10 SPIES SCOUTING THE LAND SAY IT'S TOO DIFFICULT, SO THE WHOLE PEOPLE GO INTO MOURNING. →

Batman: Greetings, Robin. We find ourselves in a rather precarious situation. The people of Israel have just heard the report of the twelve spies that Moses sent to spy out the land of Canaan. Robin: That's right, Batman. →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal. We gots these Israelites, right, who are trying to get into the Promised Land and my father used to say, "C'mon, man, you're never gonna make it if you don't believe in yourselves. →

The Bible Chapter 14, Numbers, tells an unbelievable story of the Israelites who, after being freed from slavery, made their way to the Promised Land. Many people are saying it's an amazing tale of faith, courage, and determination. →

Peter: Alright, so Numbers 14. So, uh, the Israelites get mad at God and Moses and they decide to go back to Egypt, but God says no way, Jose. So, uh, He sends a plague of giant frogs, and then sends a bunch of other plagues. →
