"Listen up, maggots! Chapter 8 of the Good Book is all about the Levites. As you already know, the Levites were special people chosen by God to serve as priests. In this chapter, God tells Moses to take the Levites and consecrate them to serve in the tabernacle. →

Folks, listen up! Here's the deal: in Numbers 8, we learn about the Levites. Lit'rally, this is the only tribe that can serve in the temple, so it's a pretty big deal. My father used to say, "You gotta take care of the Levites, or uh, you know, you won't have a temple!" So what was that? They had to be consecrated to God and they did that by offering sacrifices and then they had to go through a purification process. →

The Numbers 8 chapter is huge! Many people are saying it's one of the best chapters in the Bible. It's all about God's amazing instructions to Moses on how to set up the twelve lamps in the Tabernacle. This is a tremendous and very important task, which God blesses America for getting right. →
