1. And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood. →

Well folks, it's been a wild few weeks in the Bible. In Numbers 18, God tells Aaron that he and his sons are gonna run the priesthood in Israel. They're gonna be responsible for all the sacrifices and offerings, as well as all the sacred objects. →

HEY LISTEN UP YOU MAGGOTS! This chapter is all about the priests. Aaron, the High Priest, and his sons have been chosen by God to have special privileges and to serve Him. They are responsible for all the sacrifices and offerings that are made to God. →

Robin: Holy ancient history, Batman! This chapter of the Bible is all about the Levitical priesthood! Batman: It certainly is, Robin. The Lord tells Aaron he and his sons have been chosen to serve as priests. →

C'mon, man! Listen, Jack: here's the deal. Literally, my father used to say that the Lord told Aaron, "you and your sons are responsible for the duties in the sanctuary related to the most holy things," and, man, I'm not joking, He also said, "but only your sons can serve as priests. →

Numbers 18 is a great chapter. It's about God assigning the priests and Levites their roles in the Tabernacle. God also gives them a huge portion of the offerings made by the people. Many people are saying it's an unbelievable deal. →

Peter: Alright, so in this chapter, God tells Aaron that he and his sons are in charge of looking after the sanctuary and all the sacred stuff. Lois: And then God tells Aaron that he and his sons are gonna be responsible for taking offerings from the people of Israel, like grain, oil, and animal sacrifices. →
