"OK, LISTEN UP! Isaiah 53 is about a person who was afflicted and rejected by everyone, but despite that, still had faith. He bore the sins of many and was punished for them. He suffered, but was not guilty. He was buried, but not forgotten. He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. He was pierced for our transgressions, and by his stripes we are healed. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he never opened his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter and was silent before his accusers. He was taken away by wicked hands and put to death, yet he made no resistance. Finally, he was buried in a rich man's tomb, and his grave became the source of salvation and hope for many."
