    So it's time for a quick refresher on the Book of Joshua. This week, we look at the 14th chapter. Apparently, the whole tribe of Israel has been doling out land to the people as a reward for their loyalty and service.

    Joe: Alright! So, we're talking about Joshua 14. What can you tell us about this chapter? Bible Expert: Well, it's all about the division of the land among the various tribes of Israel. It starts off with the Lord telling Joshua to allot the land according to the lot that was cast, and then it goes into the actual division of the land.

    Listen up, recruits! This is Joshua 14. We've got Caleb, an old-timer, asking God for a piece of land. God says yes, and Caleb gets the land of Hebron. Caleb tells the people of Judah to go take possession of the land, so they do.

    Joshua 14 is all about Caleb, one of the original twelve spies sent to scout out the Promised Land. He was a terrific leader and had a great determination to take control of the land. Bigly, he was one of the only two spies who encouraged the Israelites to conquer the land, in spite of the strong opposition from the other ten spies.
