Welcome to John 2 of the Bible, folks. This chapter starts off with Jesus and his posse at a wedding in Cana. He does a real nice thing and turns some water into wine, which is very impressive. But then Jesus gets a little bit testy and flips over some tables at the temple. →

Joe: Alright, so we're talking about John chapter 2 today. What's going on in this chapter? Bible Expert: Well, Joe, this chapter is about the wedding at Cana and Jesus' first miracle. The mother of Jesus tells him that the wedding has run out of wine, and Jesus, being the generous and miraculous person he is, turns water into wine. →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal - I'm not joking - this is the story of Jesus in John 2. It all started when Jesus and his disciples were at a wedding and the wine ran out. Jesus' mother told the servants to fill up the stone jars with water and Jesus turned it into wine. →

1-11 On the third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee and Jesus was there with His mother. Now this wedding was running low energy because they had run out of wine - but not to worry, Jesus was there! He said to His mother, "They have no wine" and He said to the servants, "Fill the waterpots with water". →

1-12. Peter: Alright, so, we got John Chapter 2. Here's what it's all about: Jesus and his mom, Mary, and his disciples head to a wedding in Cana. Jesus' mom notices they don't have enough wine, so she asks Jesus to do something about it. →
