Listen up, privates! This is the story of Ruth. Back in the day, there was a famine in the land of Judah. A man named Elimelech and his wife Naomi, along with their two sons Mahlon and Chilion, moved to the land of Moab to get away from the famine. Tragically, Elimelech died, leaving his wife and two sons. The two sons married Moabite women; one was named Orpah and the other was named Ruth. Eventually, both Mahlon and Chilion died, leaving Naomi with her two daughters-in-law.

Naomi decided to return to her homeland of Judah, and Ruth and Orpah decided to go with her. Naomi tried to convince them to stay in Moab, but Ruth refused and decided to stay with Naomi. They arrived in Bethlehem and Ruth found employment in the fields of Naomi's relative, Boaz. Boaz was impressed with Ruth and decided to marry her. They married, and eventually had a son named Obed. Obed was the grandfather of King David.

That's it, privates! You got the story of Ruth. Dismissed!
