Folks, listen up. Here's the deal. So, long time ago, there was this woman named Naomi, she had a husband and two sons. But tragedy struck when her husband and sons died, leaving her alone and without a husband or kids. So, she told her daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah, to go back to their mothers. Orpah did, but Ruth wouldn't leave Naomi, and told her, "Don't ask me to leave you and turn back. Where you go I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God." No malarkey! That's the kind of loyalty and devotion we all need to strive for. I'm not joking. So, Naomi and Ruth went back to Bethlehem and the people there were so happy to see Naomi that they said, "Is this Naomi?", and she replied, "Don't call me Naomi (which means pleasant), call me Mara (which means bitter), for the Almighty has made my life very bitter." See here, Jack, I tell you what, we all need to remember that God is in control, even when it looks like everything is going wrong. Excuse me, but that's the truth.
