Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Folks, this chapter is all about Ruth, the daughter-in-law of Naomi. No malarkey. She's a Moabite woman and she goes to Bethlehem with her mother-in-law. I'm not joking. Naomi tells her to glean in the fields and she ends up in Boaz's field. C'mon, man! Boaz notices her and he's like, "Who is this woman?" See here, Jack, he's so impressed with her that he tells his workers to make sure she has plenty of food and water. What was that? He even gives her permission to eat and drink anything she wants. No lie. Literally. And then he offers her more than what she had originally asked for. Excuse me. He even gives her extra grain to take home. My father used to say, "Be generous and it will come back to you tenfold." I'm telling you, that's exactly what happened. Ruth returns home with a full basket of grain and blesses Boaz for his kindness. Or uh, you know, it's a great example of how a little kindness can go a long way. Not gonna happen. I'm not joking. That's Ruth 2 for ya!
