Folks, here's the deal. Nehemiah 12 is all about a big celebration. See here, Jack, the people of Israel had just finished rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Literally, it was a time for rejoicing. My father used to say, 'It ain't a party until the music starts.' Well, this was a party. They had singers, musicians, trumpeters and cymbal players. What was that? They also had sacrifices! No malarkey. It was a big day of feasting and joy.

But, excuse me, that's not all. Nehemiah also appointed certain priests and Levites to lead the people in worship and prayer. He was determined to make sure the people remembered their God and kept His laws. Or uh, you know, Nehemiah wasn't gonna let them forget. I tell you what, he was a true leader.

So, c'mon man, let's celebrate the Lord! He's never gonna forget us, and He's never gonna let us down. That's a promise, literally. I'm not joking.
