Hey, folks, listen up! Here's the deal. Ecclesiastes 2 is all about the vanity of life and the futility of pursuing pleasure and possessions. My father used to say, "He who loves money will never have enough." Or uh, you know, something like that. See here, Jack, I decided to go ahead and try it all. I built houses and planted vineyards, I made gardens and parks, and I filled them with all kinds of good things. I acquired men and women singers and a great collection of singers, and I bought myself all kinds of luxuries. I mean, c'mon man, I literally had it all! But after all that, it all seemed so meaningless. No malarkey, I'm not joking. What was that? What was the point of it all? I tell you what - nothing. None of it mattered in the end. Excuse me, but it's true. Not gonna happen - I'm not going to get to keep it all. Looks like it's back to the drawing board for ol' Joe.
