Folks, here's the deal. I'm not gonna lie to ya-- things ain't been easy for the people of Judah these days. My father used to say, "Joey, the Lord is gonna bring down judgement on the wicked.” And, c'mon, man, that's exactly what's happening here in Zechariah 11. See here, Jack, the Lord is telling the people of Judah to go back to Him, to walk in His ways, and literally, He's gonna give 'em a shepherd who's gonna take care of 'em. Or, uh, you know, he's gonna be like a father figure, and he's gonna take care of the people of Judah. And what was that? Oh, yeah-- it's gonna be a shepherd who's gonna take care of 'em, 'cause the Lord's gonna get rid of all the wicked people who don't follow Him. I'm not joking-- it's gonna be a whole new era-- literally, the Lord's gonna restore their fortunes, and the people of Judah are gonna be able to start fresh. But, I tell you what, it ain't gonna be easy. No malarkey! There's gonna be a lot of suffering, a lot of pain and sorrow, and, excuse me, a lot of tears and grief too. But, if the people of Judah stick with the Lord, then, in the end, everything will be alright.
