Alex Trebek: "So, tell me a bit about yourself."

Contestant: "Well, I recently read Ezekiel 2 and wanted to share the summary with you. It starts with God calling Ezekiel to be a prophet to the Israelites who are in exile in Babylon. He tells Ezekiel to warn them to turn away from their wicked ways, but Ezekiel knows they won’t listen. So, God gives him a scroll with a message of judgment that he needs to deliver to them."

Alex Trebek: *sighs* "That's...interesting. And what else can you tell me about yourself, not the Bible?"

Contestant: "Well, Ezekiel then receives a vision of God's throne on a chariot. God commands Ezekiel to eat the scroll, which he does, and then he is given a mission to prophesy against the people of Israel. He is warned that they will not listen, but he is still commanded to speak out against them."

Alex Trebek: *sighs again* "I see. Anything else you can tell me about yourself?"

Contestant: "Oh yes! God also gives Ezekiel a message of hope for the future. He says that a righteous remnant will be saved and that the nation of Israel will be restored. Ezekiel is then commissioned to be a watchman for the people and to warn them of God’s coming judgment."

Alex Trebek: *sighs yet again* "Well, that's...certainly something. Anything else you can tell me about yourself?"

Contestant: "Not really, no."

Alex Trebek: *sighs yet again, with a hint of exasperation* "Well, let's move on to the next contestant, shall we?"
