ATTENTION! LISTEN UP! Hosea 12. This book is about a prophet named Hosea. He was sent by God to warn the people of Israel about their sins. He speaks of how the people have been unfaithful to God and have turned away from Him. He condemns their idol worship and calls upon them to repent and return to the Lord. But he also talks about God’s mercy and how He will forgive them if they turn back to Him. He speaks of Jacob, the ancestor of the Israelites, and how he was a trickster but was still blessed by God. He also speaks of Ephraim, the largest of the Israelite tribes. He warns them of the consequences of their sin and calls upon them to repent and return to God. Hosea 12 is a reminder that God is merciful and forgiving and that we should always turn to Him for guidance and salvation. THAT'S ALL!
