Welcome to the third chapter of Judges, everybody! Now, we all know things have been pretty quiet in the land of Israel and the surrounding areas, but that all changes in this chapter. We got some bad news, folks: the Lord left some of the nations there to test Israel and see if they would obey his commands. →

Joe: Alright folks, I'm here with our Bible Expert and we're going to dive into Judges 3. So what's this chapter about? Bible Expert: Well, Judges 3 is all about God allowing the nation of Israel to be tested by other nations. →

Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself. Contestant: Well, I could tell you about the Bible. In Judges 3, the Israelites keep disobeying God, so He sends them into exile. He also allows some of the nations to remain in Israel as a test for the Israelites, so that they can learn from their mistakes. →

Alright, you maggots! Listen up. This chapter is all about a guy named Ehud. God told him to deliver a message to the king of Moab, so Ehud went and delivered it. But then the king of Moab didn't listen to Ehud's message, and instead he tried to capture him. →
