Joe: Alright, let's dive into Judges chapter 13! So, what's happening in this chapter? Bible Expert: Well, this chapter begins with an angel of the Lord appearing to Manoah and his wife. He tells them that they will have a son and that he will be a Nazirite from birth. →

Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself! Contestant: Well, I recently read Judges 13, which tells the story of the birth of Samson. Alex Trebek: [annoyed] What does this have to do with your life? →

ATTENTION! Listen up! Judges 13 - God gives Samson supernatural strength! Now pay attention - the Israelites are still being oppressed by the Philistines. So God sends an angel to a Manoah and his wife to tell them they'll have a son, and that he will be a Nazirite, devoted to God and never drinking wine or eating unclean food. →

Batman: "Holy Bible, Robin! It looks like something strange is happening in the book of Judges!" Robin: "What is it, Batman?" Batman: "It says that there was a man from the tribe of Dan named Manoah whose wife was barren. →

Folks, here's the deal: we gotta take a look at Judges 13. My father used to say, the Lord sent an angel to a woman named Manoah and his wife, who could not have children. And the angel said they were gonna have a son, and they named him Samson. →

In Judges 13, we see the amazing story of Samson, the super-strong man chosen by the Lord to save Israel from its enemies. Samson's parents were told by an angel that their son would be a Nazirite and would be used by the Lord to defeat the Philistines. →

Peter: Alright, so in Judges 13 the angel of the Lord visits Manoah and his wife, who had been childless for a long time. Lois: That's so sad, but at least the angel of the Lord showed up to give them some hope! →
