Folks, see here, Jack, this is Zephaniah 3 and it is a powerful chapter. It tells us that the Lord will restore Jerusalem and its people, and the Lord will make it a joyous place, with no more violence or destruction. C'mon, man! He will save the people and give them a new start. Literally, my father used to say, "It's never too late to start again." Well I'm not joking, this chapter says that all the nations around Jerusalem will be destroyed, and the Lord will bring peace and justice to the city and its people.

Now, here's the deal. The Lord will remove all the wicked people from Jerusalem and the city will be a place of joy and gladness. And the Lord will give his people strength to rebuild the city. He will also provide them with food, water and other resources. Not gonna happen that anyone will be left out or left behind.

Now, I tell you what. The Lord will also be a shelter for the people, protecting them from danger. And all the nations that come against Jerusalem will be destroyed. The Lord will make sure that the city is safe and secure. So, uh, excuse me, what was that? No malarkey! The Lord will bring peace and justice to Jerusalem, and all its people will have hope and joy.
