Alex: So, tell me a little bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm an avid Bible reader. I'd like to tell you a bit about the book of Acts, chapter 2.

Alex (visibly frustrated): Uh, okay.

Contestant: This chapter starts off with the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. All the followers of Jesus were gathered together in one place, and the Holy Spirit descended upon them in the form of tongues of fire. They all heard each other speaking in different languages, even though they all spoke the same language.

Alex (trying to move the conversation away from the Bible): Okay, that's interesting, but can you tell me a bit more about yourself?

Contestant: Sure! Peter then stood up and preached to the crowd, telling them about Jesus and how he had been crucified and raised from the dead. Many in the crowd were moved by his words and asked what they should do. Peter then told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins.

Alex (growing more frustrated): That's great. So, do you have any hobbies?

Contestant: Sure! After this, the followers of Jesus were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to preach and spread the Gospel. They performed many miracles and signs, and the number of believers grew exponentially.

Alex (trying to remain patient): Well, that's nice. What do you like to do in your free time?

Contestant: Well, I love reading the Bible! Acts 2 ends with the believers living in community and sharing all their possessions. They broke bread and prayed together, and many people were added to the group.

Alex (resigning himself to the conversation): Alright then, let's move on.
