Alex: "So, what brings you here today?"

Contestant: "Well, Alex, I'm here to tell you about the Bible, and specifically Acts 12, which tells the story of how King Herod put the apostle Peter in prison, and how an angel miraculously released him."

Alex: *sighs* "Oh. Yes, of course. Well, I'm sure it's a very interesting story, but maybe we could talk about something else? Like, what's your favorite type of cheese?"

Contestant: "Well, Alex, I'd love to, but I really wanted to tell you about this amazing Bible story first! So, as I was saying, King Herod put Peter in prison for his beliefs, and an angel miraculously freed him, and then he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark. When Peter knocked on the door, the people inside thought it was a ghost, but it was really Peter, and the people went crazy with joy!"

Alex: *facepalm* "Right. That's... interesting. Well, I'm sure it's a great story, but, uh, could we maybe talk about something else for a bit? Like, what's your favorite type of ice cream?"

Contestant: "Oh, that's a great question! But before I answer, I wanted to tell you what happened after Peter escaped. Herod was so angry that Peter had escaped that he had James, the brother of John, killed. But then, Herod was suddenly eaten by worms, and God's people praised him for his justice."

Alex: *stunned silence*
