Alex: "So, what do you do for fun in your spare time?"

Contestant: "Well, I like to read the Bible. Recently, I read Acts 21."

Alex (sighing): "Oh, here we go again. Alright, what happened in Acts 21?"

Contestant: "Paul and his companions traveled to Jerusalem and were warmly welcomed by the church there. He reported all the good things God had done in his ministry among the Gentiles. As he was preparing to leave, the disciples warned him that he would face hardship in Jerusalem. Paul brushed off their warnings and went anyway. When he arrived, he was welcomed by James and the elders. They reported that the Gentiles had been converted and circumcised, and that the Jewish believers were not being persecuted for the faith."

Alex (rolling his eyes): "So, what happened next?"

Contestant: "Paul went to the temple to complete a purification ceremony and was asked to pay for four men to complete their own purifications. When Paul took out the money to pay, a crowd started to gather, thinking he had taken Gentiles into the temple. Paul explained that he was a Roman citizen, and the crowd quieted down. Paul then stayed in Jerusalem for a few days before returning to Caesarea."

Alex: "Well, I'm glad that's over. Anything else you'd like to talk about?"

Contestant: "Actually, I'm just starting to read the book of Romans…"
