Alex Trebek: So, what have you been up to lately?
Contestant: Well, I've been reading the Bible and summarizing each chapter. Right now I'm on Acts 25.
Alex Trebek: [Sigh] Alright, let's hear it...
Contestant: Acts 25 is all about Festus, the new Roman governor of Judea. He is approached by the Jewish religious leaders who want Paul to be tried by them in Jerusalem. Festus refuses and offers Paul a trial before the Roman Emperor instead. Paul appeals to the Emperor, which leads to the next chapter.
Alex Trebek: [Rolls eyes] That's it? [Through gritted teeth] Anything else?
Contestant: Well, King Agrippa and Bernice come to visit Festus. They hear Paul's defense, and Agrippa believes that Paul is innocent but chooses to do nothing about it. Festus then decides to send Paul to Caesar for a trial.
Alex Trebek: [Sighs] Alright, thank you for your summary.
