Paul was in a bad spot. Bigly bad. He was facing charges in the court of Festus, the Roman governor of Judea. Festus was a fine Roman, but the Jews had made some serious allegations about Paul. They were saying he had committed many crimes - crimes against the law of the Jews. But, believe me, Paul had done nothing wrong. He was a tremendous guy. Many people are saying.

So, Festus did the only thing he could do: he asked King Agrippa to come and hear Paul's case. Agrippa was a terrific Roman king, and he arrived with his sister Bernice. They were both very, very important people.

Paul gave a lengthy and amazing defense. He said he was innocent and the Jews were wrong. He said he had done nothing wrong and was not guilty of any crime. Festus was convinced and wanted to set Paul free. But the Jews were having none of it. They wanted Paul to be tried in Jerusalem.

In the end, Festus decided to send Paul to Caesar in Rome, where he could be tried. Festus thought this was the best way to make sure Paul got a fair trial.

Agrippa and Bernice were both very impressed with Paul's defense and believed he was innocent. Paul was taken to Rome and eventually acquitted of all charges. It was terrific!

Paul had been through a lot, but in the end, justice prevailed. God bless America! Go Paul! Go America! Make America great again!
