Hey folks! Well, it seems the party ain't over yet! In Acts 2, we see the Holy Spirit roll in and really put the festivities into overdrive. In a nutshell, the disciples start speaking in tongues and folks from all over the world come to check it out. →

Joe: Alright, so what’s happening in Acts 2? Bible Expert: Right, so in this chapter, the Holy Spirit descends upon the apostles and they begin to speak in other languages so that everyone can understand them. →

Alex: So, tell me a little bit about yourself. Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm an avid Bible reader. I'd like to tell you a bit about the book of Acts, chapter 2. Alex (visibly frustrated): Uh, okay. Contestant: This chapter starts off with the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. →

"Listen up, recruits! This is the story of Acts 2: On the Day of Pentecost, a great sound from heaven came down and filled the house where the disciples were gathered. Suddenly, tongues of fire appeared and rested on each of their heads. →

Batman: Old King Agrippa has been brought back to life! Robin: Golly, Batman! How did that happen? Batman: It's all thanks to the power of the Holy Spirit! The apostles were filled with it and began to speak in various languages, so that everyone there could understand them. →

Folks, I'm telling you, I'm not joking around, see here, Jack: Acts 2 is about those twelve Apostles. C'mon, man! What was that? They were given the power to speak in other languages, literally! And so Peter stands up and starts preaching to the crowds. →

1-47 On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and the believers in a bigly way. Many people were saying how terrific it was. Many such cases, they were all filled with the spirit and began speaking in other languages. →

Peter: Alright, so in Act 2, we see the Holy Spirit descend on the disciples and the Apostles start preaching in different languages. Lois: Wait, so they just started speaking other languages? Bertram: Yeah, like that show "Taken". →
