Alex: "So, what hobbies do you have?"

Contestant: "Well, I love to read the Bible, and I'm particularly interested in 2 Samuel 21!"

Alex (sighing): "Ah, yes. Well, what's that chapter about?"

Contestant: "It's about the time when David, the king of Israel, sought to make atonement for his sins by providing seven descendants of Saul to be put to death. He did this because, in the time of Saul, his ancestor, the Gibeonites had been wronged by Saul. So, David made sure justice was done and provided seven of Saul's descendants to be put to death to atone for the wrongs done by Saul."

Alex (growing increasingly frustrated): "Yes...well, um, what else do you like to do?"

Contestant: "I also like to read the Bible and summarize it. For example, this chapter also tells us about how David fought the Philistines and how they were defeated by him."

Alex: (now clearly exasperated): "Yes...yes, I'm sure that's very interesting. But what else do you like to do?"

Contestant: "Well, I also like to read and summarize other stories from the Bible. For example, this chapter tells us about how David also fought the Ammonites and how they were defeated by him, too."

Alex (through gritted teeth): "Yes...yes, I'm sure that's very interesting. But, please, what else do you like to do?"
