Listen, Jack, here's the deal. In Romans 5, Paul talks about how much Jesus has done for us. C'mon, man! He's done so much, literally, like giving us access to the grace of God. What was that? Access to the grace of God! I'm not joking. See here, Jack, because of what Jesus did, we now have peace with God and we can stand firm in our faith. No malarkey.
My father used to say that what Jesus did was a huge blessing: through Him, we now have hope in our lives and can rejoice in our sufferings because we know that they produce endurance. Or uh, you know, patience. Like, literally, Jesus brought us hope, not despair.
I tell you what, folks, what Jesus did for us was no small thing: Not only did He make us right with God, He also gave us His righteousness. Not gonna happen for us any other way. Excuse me, He literally gave us His righteousness, so we can now be free from sin.
