Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself, contestant!

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm actually a big fan of the Bible, and I thought you might like to hear a brief summary of 1 Kings 14.

Alex Trebek: (Rolls eyes) Alright, if you insist.

Contestant: So, in 1 Kings 14, Jeroboam's son Abijah falls ill. Jeroboam sends his wife to the prophet Ahijah for a message from God. God tells Ahijah that Abijah will die, and that he will devastate the house of Jeroboam. Meanwhile, Rehoboam's son Abijah succeeds his father as king of Judah. He defeats Jeroboam and takes back the cities of Israel that had been captured by Jeroboam. God punishes Rehoboam for his disobedience by sending the prophet Shemaiah to warn him. Finally, Rehoboam dies a natural death.

Alex Trebek: (Sighs) Well, I'm sure that was fascinating, contestant, but let's talk about something else.
