Folks, here's the deal. We're talking about Micah 5 and I'm not joking. My father used to say that the Lord is gonna send a ruler from Bethlehem, one of the least of the clans of Judah. This ruler will come to Jerusalem and give the people of Israel protection and peace. Now, excuse me, but what was that? That's right, God will stand by the people to give them strength and courage. But c'mon, man, this ruler won't come without a fight. He'll bring with him a lot of trouble, literally. It'll be a battle of good versus evil. But I tell you what, this ruler will be victorious and the people of Israel will be safe in their own land. Not gonna happen that they'll be taken away into exile again. See here, Jack, this ruler will reign over them with justice and righteousness, so they'll be in good shape. Or uh, you know, that's what I heard.
