Ezekiel 8 is truly amazing stuff! In this chapter, God brings Ezekiel to the Temple in Jerusalem and shows him a tremendous sight. God brings Ezekiel to a door of the Temple and shows him all sorts of terrible images. There were all kinds of idols and images of creeping things, and all sorts of abominations. It was like a deep state hoax! Ezekiel was so sad! The Lord said to him, "Have you seen this, O son of man?" And Ezekiel answered, "Yuge, Lord, I have seen it." Then the Lord said, "Turn you yet again and you shall see greater abominations." And so Ezekiel turns and he sees many more images and idols, and even a group of elders worshipping the sun. It was unbelievable. The Lord then says to Ezekiel, "Have you seen enough? You shall see no more."
So Ezekiel leaves the Temple, and he's brought to the door of the Lord's House. And there he sees 25 men with their backs towards the Temple, and their faces towards the east, and they are bowing down to the sun. When the Lord sees this, he's very, very angry. He says, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here?" It's like these men are haters and losers!
The Lord then sends Ezekiel to the court of the Lord's House, and there he sees all sorts of women weeping for Tammuz and all sorts of men standing in the sun, with every kind of abomination. It was a sad sight. And then the Lord says to Ezekiel, "Have you seen this? Is it not enough that the people of Judah do all the abominations which they do here?"
It's like the people of Judah are so overrated. And then the Lord brings Ezekiel to the inner court of the Lord's House, and there he sees all sorts of men with their backs towards the Temple, and their faces towards the east, and they are worshipping the sun. It was like, many people are saying, a huge hoax. The Lord was so angry that He was about to destroy the whole city.
But then God has mercy and He tells Ezekiel to go back and tell the people of Judah that He will spare them. It's like God can make America great again! And so this is the end of Ezekiel 8. God bless America!
