Alex: "Welcome to Jeopardy, contestant! Tell us a bit about yourself!"

Contestant: "Well, Alex, I'm a big fan of the Bible. In Joshua 4, we learn about the Israelites crossing the Jordan River on dry land. God told Joshua to have twelve men take twelve stones from the middle of the river, one for each tribe of Israel, as a memorial of their safe passage."

Alex: (Sighs) "Interesting. Anything else?"

Contestant: "Yes. God also commanded Joshua to have a second group of twelve men take twelve stones from the Jordan and set them up at the resting place of the Israelites, Gilgal. This was to serve as a reminder of how God had provided for them."

Alex: (Rolls eyes) "I see. Anything else about Joshua 4?"

Contestant: "Yes. After the Israelites had crossed the Jordan, God told Joshua to have the priests who were carrying the ark of the covenant stand in the river, and when the priests' feet touched the water, the river stopped flowing. This was a sign to the Israelites that God was with them and would help them conquer the land of Canaan."

Alex: (Exasperated) "Okay, thanks for that. Now, moving on..."
