Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Nahum is about the Lord and his anger with Nineveh. Literally, the Lord is a jealous and avenging God, and he will not let the people of Nineveh get away with their sin. C'mon, man! He's going to punish them severely. My father used to say, "you reap what you sow," and that's certainly true in this case. I'm not joking!

See here, Jack, the Lord is serious about punishing Nineveh. He will not be merciful. What was that? He's going to make a path in the sea and a way in the mighty waters and he will march his troops in, you know, not gonna happen. He'll send out his messengers to wipe out the people of Nineveh, and there won't be anyone left to even mention their name. Excuse me, but the Lord's wrath will be like a raging storm and a consuming fire. He'll shake the earth and make the mountains tremble. No malarkey!

That's it, folks! The Lord will protect his people, but Nineveh will be destroyed. You heard it here first.
