Folks, here's the deal with Hebrews 11—it's all about faith. Literally! My father used to say, "Faith is like a rock, and it's the only thing that'll see you through the storms of life." See here, Jack, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—they all had faith, and they were all blessed because of it. What was that? They were all commended for their faith? Or uh, you know, they were all credited with righteousness? Yeah, that's right! C'mon, man!
But there's more. Noah, too, he had faith—and he was able to build an ark and save himself and his family from the flood. That's a pretty impressive feat, let me tell you what. The same goes for Moses, who had faith even when he was facing down Pharaoh and the Egyptian army. I'm not joking—Moses was a man of faith, and that faith made him brave enough to do what was right.
And then there's Rahab—she was a prostitute, but she had faith and she was saved. Literally! Plus, she was mentioned in the lineage of Jesus. Not gonna happen, you say? Well, it did, and that's the power of faith. Excuse me, but that's the kind of faith we should be looking for, no malarkey!
