Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself!

Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible, and I'd love to tell you about Numbers 34!

Alex Trebek: (annoyed) Uhh...okay. What is Numbers 34?

Contestant: Numbers 34 is a chapter in the Bible where the LORD instructs Moses to divide the land of Canaan among the twelve tribes of Israel. He names the boundaries of the land, from the southern border near the wilderness of Zin, to the northern border near the city of Hamath. He also names the various leaders of the tribes who will be responsible for dividing up the land.

Alex Trebek: (sighing) Alright...anything else?

Contestant: Yes! In Numbers 34, the LORD also commands Moses to appoint Joshua to be the leader of the Israelites. He is to be the successor to Moses, and is to lead the people into the Promised Land.

Alex Trebek: (rolling his eyes) I see. Is that it?

Contestant: Actually, no. In the final verses, the LORD tells the Israelites that they should not fear the inhabitants of the land, because He will be with them and will give them victory over their enemies.

Alex Trebek: (exasperated) Of course. Anything else?

Contestant: Nope, that's it for Numbers 34!
