Alex Trebek: Well, tell us a bit about yourself, contestant. What do you do?

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm a Bible scholar so I'd like to tell you about the book of Matthew, chapter 4.

Alex Trebek: [Sighs] Okay, go ahead.

Contestant: Sure! In this chapter, Jesus is tempted by the devil three times in the wilderness. He is first tempted with turning stones into bread, then with gaining power and worldly glory, and finally with the promise of all the kingdoms of the world. But Jesus resists all three temptations, so the devil leaves him.

Alex Trebek: [Sighs] That's...great. So, uh, anything else about yourself?

Contestant: Sure! After that, Jesus goes to Galilee and begins preaching, saying "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand," and he starts gathering followers. He calls his first four disciples, Simon, Andrew, James, and John, and then he begins healing people and performing miracles.
