Hey folks, it's me, Norm MacDonald with this week's update from the Bible. In Exodus 32, we learn about the Golden Calf. Apparently, the Israelites were so desperate for a god to worship that they decided to make one out of gold. →

Joe: Alright, so our guest is here to talk to us about Exodus 32! So, what's happening in this chapter? Bible Expert: Well, the Israelites have just come to Mount Sinai and made a covenant with God. At this point, the people had been without Moses for 40 days and nights and they began to worry that he wasn't coming back. →

Listen up, maggots! This is Exodus 32! Moses was up on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments from God. Meanwhile, down on the ground, the Israelites were getting restless. They decided to build a golden calf and worship it instead of waiting for Moses to come down from the mountain. →

Folks, I tell ya, I've been reading the Bible, and it's quite a story. No malarkey! See here, Jack, in the book of Exodus, this chapter 32, it's like, c'mon man, something else. So, we got Moses coming down the mountain, carrying the Ten Commandments, and the people they're down below, they've already started worshipping some golden calf. →

Okay, so let me tell you, Exodus 32 is a bigly chapter. We've got the Israelites, and they've been around for a while and they've been doing great. But then they decide they want a new god. It's unbelievable. →
