Alex Trebek: So, tell me a little bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible, so I'd like to talk about the Book of Exodus.

Alex Trebek: [sighing] I was afraid of that. Alright, what do you want to say about it?

Contestant: Exodus 40 is all about God instructing Moses to build the Tabernacle, a portable temple for the Israelites to use during their travels in the wilderness. God also gives Moses instructions for all the furnishings, including the ark of the covenant, the altar of burnt offering, and the laver of brass.

Alex Trebek: [trying to change the subject] So what else do you like to do in your free time?

Contestant: Well, I also like to read the Bible. In Exodus 40, God commands Moses to consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve as priests. He also instructs Moses to anoint the Tabernacle, the ark of the covenant, and all its furnishings with oil, so that they can be purified and made holy.

Alex Trebek: [sighing] Please tell me something else.

Contestant: Sure. In Exodus 40, God also commands Moses to place the two tablets of the Ten Commandments in the ark of the covenant and to hang the veil between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. Finally, God fills the Tabernacle with His glory and presence, and the Israelites are able to travel with the Tabernacle in the wilderness.
