1-13

Listen, Jack, here's the deal. We should treat everyone the same, no malarkey! My father used to say “Show no partiality”, so we can't be picky when it comes to who we show favoritism to. We can't give special treatment to the rich over the poor, or vice versa. C'mon, man! We all have the same value in God's eyes. See here, Jack, if we're gonna show favoritism to someone, it should be based on their character, not their wealth. What was that? We should be careful not to judge people based on their outward appearance. We gotta recognize that, even though someone may be dressed nicely, it doesn't mean they're more important than someone who's not.

Or uh, you know, we can't believe that God will accept the faith of some people over others. Literally, it doesn't matter if someone has faith in Jesus Christ if they don't have any good deeds to back it up. I'm not joking. We gotta recognize that faith without works is dead. So, if someone's faith isn't backed up by their actions, then it's no good. Excuse me, we all need to put our faith into action, 'cause if we don't, then we're as good as dead.

I tell you what, James 2:13 says it all: "For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." We gotta recognize that we need to be kind and forgiving, 'cause that's what God is. Not gonna happen that He will accept us if we don't show mercy to others. So, let's all follow this rule and show mercy to our neighbors.
