Folks, here's the deal. I'm gonna tell you about the book of Obadiah and what's in it. No malarkey. So, Obadiah is about a message from God to the Edomites. See here, Jack, Obadiah says the Edomites will be punished for their pride and arrogance and for the way they treated the people of Israel. My father used to say, "Pride goes before a fall." I'm not joking. Later in the chapter, God promises to restore Israel and to bring glory to Mount Zion. Or uh, you know, God says that all of the nations will come to Mount Zion and be judged there. What was that? Oh, and the book ends with a promise that God will rescue his people and make them a powerful nation again. C'mon, man! Literally, Obadiah is a reminder that God will make things right in the end. It's a powerful message. I tell you what, it's one we should all take to heart. Excuse me!
