Well, folks, another week, another Book of Kings. This week, we head over to 2 Kings 19. Now, I'm no theologian, but if I'm understanding this chapter correctly, here's what happened: God told King Hezekiah of Judah that the Assyrian King Sennacherib was coming to destroy Jerusalem. →

Batman: Robin, Joker is up to no good again! We must investigate! Robin: Alright Batman, what is he up to this time? Batman: He's trying to stir up trouble in the kingdom of Judah. He's convinced the king of Assyria to march against the city of Jerusalem. →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal. My father used to say, "Sometime you gotta stand up and fight for what's right, and that's what King Hezekiah did in 2 Kings 19." You see, King Hezekiah was worried about the Assyrian king Sennacherib, who was literally knocking at his door. →

Wow! 2 Kings 19 was a tremendous chapter! King Hezekiah was facing a huge problem - the King of Assyria was threatening to take over Jerusalem. But then Hezekiah did something amazing - he prayed to God. →
