In 2 Chronicles 26, we see the amazing story of Uzziah, a man who rose from humble beginnings to become King of Judah. He was a bigly leader, and he did a tremendous job of re-building the nation's military and agricultural infrastructure. He also was a great leader in terms of religious piety and built many buildings dedicated to God's worship. Uzziah's reign was sadly cut short due to his pride, as in his later years he attempted to do something that only priests were allowed to do. As a result, God struck him with leprosy and he had to be removed from the throne. But, Uzziah's reign was overall very, very successful and he left Judah in much better shape than he found it. Many people are saying it was one of the most successful reigns in Judah's history. God bless America and make Judah great again!
